Give to Holy Family

Your gift helps Church of the Holy Family realize its vision: to create a community which loves and serves Christ and our neighbors.

Our 2023 Pledge Campaign theme is More Than Enough, and it comes from the end of Luke’s version of the feeding of the five-thousand. Responding to Jesus’ call, the gathered crowd turns their pockets inside out, shakes out their blankets, rummages through their parcels to find enough to take care of the needs of the community. And what do they realize? That by the miracle of faith and the action of Love, there was more than enough, an abundance of leftovers!

Our pledge campaign this year focuses on the miracle of sharing, the ways in which our means meet the needs of the world, the ways in which we respond to the Gospel, the ways in which we sustain our community. Our theology of giving focuses on the three-legged stool of Wealth, Works, and Wisdom; these are the ways in which we make our gifts to the world.

Stewardship is a cherished practice of the Episcopal Church and helps us connect our lives to the mission of Church of the Holy Family. Our gifts provide vital revenue for the maintenance and operation of our sanctuary, the church buildings, and various technology needs. Our offerings are also critical to support for our parish and outreach ministries, and financially compensate our devoted clergy and staff who provide pastoral care and engage us in prayer, worship, and outreach. It is through our annual financial gifts that give thanks for the blessings we receive and share with others in service.

Our goal is to raise $120,000 in pledges for 2023. Our hope is that everyone in our church family will participate. Everyone’s gifts are different and it is this diversity of blessings that allows a parish to thrive and grow. When we share our gifts, we are outwardly demonstrating our gratitude for what God has done for us and is doing for our community.

And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.  And all ate and were filled. What was left over was gathered up, twelve baskets of broken pieces. Luke 9:16-17, NRSV

"It has been my honor to be Holy Family‘s senior warden over the past few years as I’ve seen how much Holy Family has done to serve God, our community and this congregation with its generosity. It is God’s calling that we continue to serve our fellow mankind with generosity."

"As founding members of Holy Family, we were graced with a wonderful sense of hope and commitment, a feeling we still carry. Yet there is still so much to do as Holy Family continues to fulfill its dream of serving God and our community. Please prayerfully consider what financial gift you can offer."

"When stewardship is mentioned, I think of caretaking — caring for ourselves, family, parish and neighbors. When we offer our gifts of work, wealth and wisdom we are sharing our blessings, and in doing so we help lift everyone up."
