The Gospel invites us to Walk in Love with our neighbor in their footsteps, with the outcast and the marginalized, with those who need us. As we spread the Good News in our world, we carry the love and support of our congregation and our prayers into our communities. When you share your many gifts with your neighbors, every step is walking in love.
Our goal is to raise $164,000 in pledges for 2025 and our aspiration is that everyone in our church family will participate. Everyone’s gifts are different and it is this diversity of blessings that allows a parish to thrive and grow. When we share our gifts, we are outwardly demonstrating our gratitude for what God has done for us and is doing for our community.
Our 2025 Pledge Campaign theme is Walk in Love, and it comes from the letter to the Ephesians.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. ~ Ephesians 5:1-2, NRSV
Generosity is a journey. It’s a practice that we learn and nurture within our hearts. It takes something as radical as God's Love to inspire us to share our time, talent, and treasure. Love changes both communities and the world. The most miraculous gift of Love is that it is within us all the time, all we need to do is tap into it. You will be amazed at what happens.

Jesus walks in love with the marginalized, with the poor, with the sick, and brings us along with him on his journey. He causes a revolution of thought and heart by daring us to reach out to the outcast. We learn to share, give, care for others, pray and strive for change through Him.

Stewardship is a cherished practice of the Episcopal Church and helps us connect our lives to Church of the Holy Family's mission. Our gifts provide vital revenue for the maintenance and operation of our sanctuary, church buildings, and technology needs. Our offerings are also critical to support the parish's outreach ministries and financially compensate our devoted clergy and staff who provide pastoral care and engage us in prayer, worship, and service. Our annual financial gifts express our appreciation for the blessings we receive and share with our parish family.

This is a journey we make together: a Walk in Love.

"Stewardship involves love, hard work, energy, and dedication. It is also a gift that reflects a person's unique strengths, passions and resources. As a vestry member, I love caring for the parish's present life and planning for its future. As Holy Family works to expand its reach to care for our larger Mills River family, please carefully consider your gifts of time, talent and treasure."

"In a world filled with self-seeking, the church provides a sanctuary for those of us who crave acceptance, connection, and inspiration. The Episcopal Church, and Holy Family in particular, allows space for God to be God – and humans to be human. Sharing my time, skills, and finances is a worthwhile investment. It shows my commitment to furthering the Kingdom of God – a kingdom where everyone matters and there is no need to hide."
David and Laura W.
"Stewardship means to take care of something. In this case, it is the care of our church and our community. We are planners. By pledging, we help Holy Family plan its work and outreach; it is our confirmation of support for the church's missions."
The Episcopal Church of the Holy Family is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Our tax ID number is EIN 56-1685234.
