Saint David was a Welsh bishop during the sixth century. He was born around 462 t0 512. He is traditionally believed to be the son of Saint Non and the grandson of Ceredig apCunedda king of Ceredigio. David founded numerous churches throughout South Wales.
God our Father, you gave the Bishop David to the Welsh church to uphold the faith and to be an example of Christian perfection.
